Side Quests

A lot of my recent work has been in AAA which is often cloaked under a shadowy cloud of NDAs and paroled by ominous all-knowing corporate attorneys (think dementors, but with leather briefcase-satchels overflowing with litigation documentation, all written in Latin of course). So it suffices to say that I can't chat too much about that; you can find my work history including all those projects here. But these projects I made in my spare time.
Labors of love, and sometimes, rarely, profitable.

Stanford Game Development Course, CS146

I led development and instruction of Stanford's inaugural game development course, CS146. With the help of my team, I taught the course for two years and helped place many students into full-time career opportunities. Teaching is one of my greatest passions. <3
My Roles:  petitioning to create the course, authoring the weekly assignments, grading student submissions, creating educational materials (online guides and tutorial videos), building the course website, recruiting industry speakers to our lectures, and moderating Q&A sessions.

Candy Crush Clone

Funny story actually, I was in highschool and some folks asked me to make a Candy Crush clone to evaluate my candidacy to work at their company. They wanted it in HTML (that was probably one of the first red flags). Anyways, the company dissolved before I got an offer.
